A WOMAN from Cippenham has died in hospital following a fire in her home.

Firefighters were called to rescue the badly burnt victim, who is yet to be named, at approximately 1.30pm yesterday.

Her neighbour, Anwar Khan, said: " I heard the fire engines and ambulance. When she was taken out of her home she looked severely burnt."

Police have sealed off the property in Fotheringay Gardens as investigations continue into the small house fire.

Two appliances from Slough fire station attended the incident.
