THE family of a missing man who fell into the River Thames during a Slough school's boat party have made a desperate plea for information.

Peter Jones was last seen falling into the River Thames near Windsor Racecourse at about 9.50pm last night (23/7).

Peter's family said: "We are naturally very worried for Peter's welfare as he has now been missing for over 20 hours. We urge him to get in contact with us as soon as possible to let us know that he is safe and well."

Mr Jones, aged 43, from Slough, was attending a party put on by Arbour Vale school on a river boat at the time he went missing. The circumstances of how he entered the river are currently under investigation.

Peter's family said: "We are naturally very worried for Peter's welfare as he has now been missing for over 20 hours. We urge him to get in contact with us as soon as possible to let us know that he is safe and well."

If anyone has information to assist police with their on-going investigation, they should contact Det Insp Steve Armstead via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
