TRAVELLERS who have invaded a waste ground site could be forced to leave by a court order.

More than a dozen caravans arrived in Priory Road, Burnham, on Friday. On a previous occasion, travellers were on the same site for two weeks before being moved on.

Slough Borough Council was due to seek a court order to remove the caravans from the site on Thursday 26th April.

Sheila Pierson, 70, of Priory Road, said: “There is a dog which barks throughout the night right opposite us.

“We are having to close the windows when it is quite warm. We are all really peeved.”
