TREASURED MEMORIES: One of the few pictures Lyfe Langmead still has of him and his beloved wife Nadine.
A heartfelt plea has been made by a grieving husband for the return of his stolen laptop containing images of his wife who died just three months ago aged 30.
Lyfe Langmead of Walpole Road, Burnham, was helping out a friend with computer problems at her flat on Bath Road, Slough, when his car window was smashed by a thief and his laptop stolen.
Mr Langmead, 31, an IT manager based on Windsor Road, is too upset to talk about his wife's death but wants the pictures back to remind him of the happy years they spent together.
He said: "That computer is irreplaceable and priceless to me as it contains almost every picture I have ever taken of my late wife, Nadine, who passed away in February.
"The theft came at the worst possible time because I had recently transferred almost every image on to the laptop and I am now left with hardly any images of her whatsoever.
"I had not felt strong enough to look at pictures until recently but it is nice to still be able to look at her, even if it is upsetting. I am appealing to anyone who has any information to please let me know, I do not care about the laptop, all I want back are the very sentimental images and I am willing to offer a reward with no questions asked.
"Overall, there are about 10,000 images, including those of our wedding in Mauritius last year.
"I have set up a special phone number dedicated solely to finding the images and I want to reassure whoever it was that took the laptop that I am not angry with them or trying to set them up.
"All I want are the images back with me where they belong. Dee and I were together for seven years and I want to be able to look back at those times with fond memories."
Mr Langmead's laptop was stolen from his car, parked on an access road at 30 Bath Road, at approximately midday on Friday, May 2.
