Death causes chaos on M4

A MAN has died in a serious crash which caused commuter chaos this morning (Monday).

Emergency services rushed down to a road traffic collision on the M4 involving two cars and two motorcycles at 7.45am.

Police have confirmed that the dead man’s next of kin are currently being located but have not yet released information on any other injuries.

The accident happened on the eastbound carriageway at junction 5 which is expected to open shortly. Police diverted traffic off the slip road - causing heavy traffic tailback on surrounding roads.

Anyone who witnessed the crash should call Insp James Strachan via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
