A WOMAN in her twenties has died after a crash in Colnbrook.

A silver MG convertible was travelling in Bath Road, near the junction of Elbow Meadow, when it collided with a chain-linked fence and went into the grounds of a golf driving range at around 6.30pm yesterday (Thursday).

The victim, who is believed to be the passenger in the sports car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another woman, also in her twenties and thought to be the driver, suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to Wexham Park Hospital for treatment.

The family of the deceased woman have been informed and formal identification is expected to take place shortly.

Police are currently investigating what caused the crash and are calling on witnesses to come forward.

Anyone with more information should call PC Dave Beeson on 0845 8 505 505.
