Train death man identified

THE MAN who died after being struck by a high-speed train near Taplow has been identified as a city financier.
Married father-of-one Kirk Stephenson, 47, died on Thursday after the incident which was reported just after 9am.
He was reportedly seen on the tracks but the train driver could not stop in time.
Mr Stephenson was the chief operating officer at investment firm Olivant. It is not known why he came to Taplow.
A post mortem examination conducted on Monday showed Mr Stephenson, who lived in Chelsea, died of multiple injuries.
British Transport Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
