Arrest over deputy mayor shooting

A MAN has been arrested in connection with the crossbow shooting that left the deputy mayor wounded.

The 34-year-old man from the London area was arrested yesterday (Monday) and has been released on bail until Monday pending further enquiries.

Cllr Joginder Bal, 53, was assaulted outside his home in Northampton Avenue, Slough, at about 8pm on Sunday, November 23. He sustained an injury to is arm which is believed to have been caused by a crossbow bolt.
