SLOUGH Jets U12s have won the South Division Two title after beating Lee Valley U12s on Sunday.
The Junior Jets were top of the table going into the game and needed just one point to clinch the division crown.
Slough put Lee Valley under enormous pressure in the first 10 minutes with Lee Valley having very few shots on goal.
However, they did not find the back of the net until 12.02 and by the end of the first period they led 3-0.
In the second period, Lee Valley stepped up the pressure, but the Jets defence and netminder soaked up the shots.
Despite being short handed during the last two minutes, Jets ended the game 5-0 winners and league champions.
Man of the match was Jessica Curtis, with the spirit of the game award going to Sam Rudkin.
Rudkin led the scorers with 2&1, while other goals were contributed by Ben Edwards (1&1),Matt Dawson (1&0) and Liam Underdown (1&0).
