THE Slough Jets made sure of qualification for the final four thanks to Saturday’s 4-2 triumph at Swindon Wildcats.

Head coach Steve Moria got his wish as the Jets secured their place in Coventry in the first of the weekend’s games and in the process became the first team to win at Swindon in the play-offs.

Moria commented: “We wanted to win that one and we did so everything’s perfect.

“We wanted to win so that it didn’t come down to Sunday evening.

“It was an important game and we played well, we came out hard, battled and everyone chipped in.”

Although the Jets lost their last home game of the season on Sunday on penalties to the Wildcats after coming up against an inspired netminder.
