Stars to shine in Slough

LEGENDS of cricket are set to collide at Slough on Thursday.

An all star Lashings World XI – led by Richie Richardson – take on a Celebrasian XI captained by Pakistani great Inzaman-ul-Haq in a Twenty20 match.

The action starts at Slough’s Upton Park ground at 5pm with gates opening at 4pm and you can see stars including Kapil Dev, Musthtaq Ahmed and Saqlain Mushtaq for the Celebrasian side.

The Lasings team will feature the likes of Alvin Kallicharran, a two-time World Cup winner with the West Indies in the 1970s, Richardson, Dinesh Mongia, Tino Best, Rashid Latif, Chris Harris and Phil DeFreitas.
