TOP players will be missing for Farnham Royal Cricket Club as they look to bounce back from their first defeat of the season.
Royal suffered a one run loss at home to Finchampstead last weekend when they should have won and they will be looking to put that right at Thame Town tomorrow (Saturday).
Although they will have to do that without skipper Ollie Clayson who will miss the next two weeks due to work commitments.
Fellow prolific run scorer, Warren Miller, is still recovering from injury and likely to be out for another three weeks so there is pressure on the rest of the side to contribute with the bat.
West Indian Krishmar Santokie will step in the skipper the side in Clayson’s absence.
“We will be slightly under strength,” remarked Clayson. “The senior professionals in amongst the club will have to put their hands up and be counted.”
