Tough run continues for Burnham

Despite beating the top two sides in their division in recent weeks, it doesn’t get any easier for Burnham CC.
Second-placed Finchampstead visit the Memorial Ground today following an eight-wicket demolition of Basingstoke & North Hants last weekend.
After wins over Farnham Royal and Wokingham in their last two outings, Burnham have climbed to sixth in the Home Counties Division Two West table themselves and welcome the challenge.
“Let’s hope our good form continues,” remarked Burnham skipper, Mohammed Fazal. “We really do need to carry that on, the table is now looking very bunched up and the next couple of games will be crucial.
“They beat us last time, but we prefer to concentrate on ourselves and ensure we are ready.”
