A 1-0 win over Bracknell Town last night made it four points from Burnham's opening two matches.
Captain Dan Willment was the hero for the home team, poking the ball home from close range in the 56th minute, following Ben Hudell's free-kick.
Lifting the side to sixth in the early season Southern League Division One South & West table, the result was heralded by Burnham manager Dave Mudge.
He said: “I was extremely happy - Bracknell have put together a top eight side and asked a lot of questions of us, but we answered them.
"We’ve got a young side and credit to them they came through the test with flying colurs and really stepped up to the mark.
“It’s four points from our first two games, we’ve got to be happy with that.”
