Peter Pan will be South Hill Park’s annual summer promenade show for 2016 with a host of community actors sweeping audiences around the ground of the impressive mansion and grounds.
The classic story of a little boy who never grows up has been transformed for the production which takes the audience from the Wilde Theatre to the grounds, great for the whole family.
Mike Aioytis is one of the boys playing Peter Pan himself and said: “It’s touching. Its something that everyone wants.

“I think everyone wants to be Peter Pan: kids want to be him because he’s a hero, and adults want to be him because he hasn’t got a care in the world.”
Also taking on the role as Peter Pan is Jake Willett, who added: “The topic is something that everyone has to deal with. Everyone has to grow up.”
A big part of South Hill Park’s productions involves a talented team of designers, artists and designers.
Costume designer Anne Thomson said: “This year I thought about the kinds of fabrics that would withstand the rain.
“We wanted the historical aspects of it, but mixed in with sci-fi and modern stuff to give it a bit of a twist.”
