A 22-YEAR-OLD man will appear at crown court after being charged with dangerous driving following an incident in Slough and Maidenhead.
Richard Newland, of Windermere Way, Slough, has been charged with six offences after allegedly driving his silver Jaguar X-type in a dangerous manner.
The charges relate to an incident on the A4 and Grenfell Road in Maidenhead, at around 11.30pm, on Wednesday, November 30.
He has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, obstructing or resisting an officer, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and failing to stop after a collision.
Newland was initially remanded in custody before appearing at Slough Magistrates' on Friday where he was committed to crown court with a trial date still to be fixed.
He has since been released on conditional bail.
