CAFÉ Rouge has unveiled its redesigned bistro – inspired by the Musketeers – at Windsor Royal Shopping Centre.

Dramatic medieval style flags stamped with the Café Rouge crest now welcome diners to the restaurant, as well as a host in traditional Musketeer regalia.

Inside, displays of The Musketeers iconic hats feature alongside framed and mirrored artwork of the infamous French infantrymen.

Café Rouge-crested shields and cross swords also adorn the back bar.

Christian Moulinier, native Frenchman and restaurant general manager, said: “This is an exciting moment for us here in Windsor. We are particularly excited to be welcoming our very own musketeer, who will become the newest member of the Café Rouge team. The new designs will bring an added touch of history and elegance to one of Windsor’s most favoured restaurants.” As well as the new look, the bistro is presenting a new menu inspired by 25 years of Café Rouge menus and French cuisine – from the debut offering in 1989 right through to current French food trends.
