THREE people have been arrested on suspicion of robbery following an attack.

At approximately 3.30am this morning (30/7), an incident took place on Farnham Road, where it was reported that five men were assaulting another man.

The victim, a local man in his twenties, sustained minor injuries during the incident in which his mobile phone was stolen. He did not require hospital treatment.

Two men aged 19 and another aged 20 were arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident. They currently remain in police custody.
