Firefighters from Slough and Langley worked for half an hour to release a man trapped in a Ford Fiesta car after it was involved in an accident with a lorry on the M4 early this morning.
The collision happened between junctions five and six near Langley at about 5am.
The firefighters - led by watch manager Jonathan James - stayed on the scene for an hour and a half making the area safe.
The released man was taken to Wexham Park Hospital, Slough.
