FIRE fighters were called to two road traffic accidents in Slough this morning.
The first was a head-on collision involving a car and a van in Church Lane, Wexham.
The incident occurred at around 9.30am this morning.
No one was trapped, however Slough fire fighters worked for 40 minutes to make the scene safe.
The second required crews from Slough and Maidenhead to attend an incident on the M4 involving a butcher's van.
At around 11.30am the van left the carriageway before ending up in the ditch in between junctions 8/9 and 7.
Although the driver managed to walk out of the vehicle he was taken to hospital by paramedics.
