SLOUGH MP Fiona Mactaggart supported thousands of residents who delivered postcards to 10 Downing Street urging the Prime Minister to back Heathrow expansion this week.
More than 50,000 postcards have already been sent to David Cameron from residents living near Heathrow in Surrey, West London and Thames Valley during the past couple of weeks.
The delegation and postcard campaign was organised by Back Heathrow, a coalition of more than 100,000 campaigning for a new runway.
Ms Mactaggart said: “I am delighted to help deliver this important message to Downing Street.
“The majority of people in Slough and the Thames Valley want Heathrow to grow and succeed.
“It’s about time the Prime Minister listened to my constituents and the thousands of others who have made their views known to him and we get on with making Heathrow bigger and better.”
