A SLOUGH man has been charged with attempted murder after an incident in which four people sustained knife wounds in Slough yesterday.

Mohammed Khan, 33, of Stoke Poges Lane, has been charged with one count of attempted murder, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and one count of wounding with intent.

The charges relate to an incident in Lismore Park, Slough, on Sunday in which four people were injured.

Two men and one woman were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening. The woman has since been discharged from hospital while a third man was also injured but did not require hospital treatment.

Khan has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Slough Magistrate's Court later this morning 

A 26-year-man who was also arrested in connection with this offence, on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, wounding / inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and obstruct / resisting a person assisting a constable in execution of duty, has been bailed until November 17.
