A DERELICT building in a park looks set to be given a new lease of life as a nursery.
Slough born and bred childminder pair Pav Holman and Yvonne Martin have taken on the lease of a 84 Bath Road, in Salt Hill Park, Slough, and have already began refurbishing the building to open a nursery at the beginning of next year.
Mrs Holman said: "The lease went up and we submitted an application. There was five other people interested we think, but we were successful with our application as I think there was a keenness to let it out as a nursery."
The nursery will cater for around 25 children and will employ five members of staff.
