A COLLISION with a refuse lorry in Trelawney Avenue, Slough yesterday has left a woman pedestrian with a serious leg injury.
The accident happened at about 1.45pm. The woman, who is 40, was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford for treatment.
The road was closed for about two hours while emergency services attended the scene.
Investigating officer, PC Jess Barker from Taplow roads policing said: “The woman involved in the collision sustained a very serious injury to her leg and is currently receiving hospital treatment. We are investigating the circumstances of the collision and I would like to speak to anyone who has not yet contacted police, who may have any information about what happened.”
