NETWORK Rail has said there will be delays between Reading and Paddington following a fatality.
Trains are expected to be delayed until at least 4pm after a person was hit by a train at Ealing Broadway this morning.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Our officers were called to Ealing Broadway rail station on Tuesday, November 24, to reports of a person hit by a train.
“The call came into police at 11.23am.
“Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. A man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers will now work to identify the man and inform his family.
“A file will be prepared for the coroner. His death is not being treated as suspicious.”
