THAMES Valley Police is releasing CCTV images in relation to a robbery in Slough.

A man walked into The Brands Hill post office in London Road at about 10.30am on Sunday, November 8.

The offender brandished a knife, threatened a member of staff and then demanded money.

The member of staff refused to hand over any money and the offender left the store on foot.

Investigating officer, Det Con Amanda Winterbourne of Force CID based at Maidenhead police station, said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in these CCTV images to contact police immediately as we believe he might have vital information that can aid our appeal.

“This was an extremely frightening experience for the members of staff so it is important that if you have any information, no matter how insignificant you think it might be, you should contact police by visiting your nearest police station or calling 101.

“If you don't want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
