A GYM hosted its second competition, attracting competitors from all across the country, for a day of workouts and team work.

Crossfit Slough, in Sykes Road, Slough Trading Estate, held its second Enter The Dragon competition inviting a further five teams to participate this time round, bring the totally up to 25, with 100 competitors and around 100 spectators on Sunday.

The teams had to complete four workouts, all with a military slant, taking part in exercises such as partner carries, shifting weights between two points, bear crawls and relays.

Dai Palmer, owner of the gym which opened in September last year, said: "We had people who were clean and jerking 150kg which is pretty special.

"But we also had people who were being pulled in to the competition at the last minute.

"It shows everyone feels they can come and compete and we're able to run a competition where everyone walks away feeling like they've achieved something."
