ANIMAL lovers are invited to spend Valentine’s weekend at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in Old Windsor.
Dogs and their owners are welcome to attend the family friendly ‘Puppy Love’ event at the centre in Priest Hill.
On Saturday, February 13 between 11am and 4pm, the charity is inviting four-legged friends to take a photo in the kissing booth, while the charity plays cupid to Battersea residents looking for new homes.
The event will help to raise funds for the charity with entry costing £2 for adults and £1 for children. There will also be fundraising activities available to take part in for an additional charge.
There will be crafts for children, and tea and cakes, and members of the public can meet Battersea dog Reggie – a boxer cross that has spent more than a year in kennels and is looking for kind owners and a good home.
Staff hope that the fundraising event will inspire members of the public to support Battersea, so it can continue to rescue and rehome thousands of dogs and cats.
