LINES have re-opened at Slough Railway Station after delays due to a woman being hit by a train.
Network Rail, British Transport Police and the emergency services worked together to deal with the incident.
The train involved was travelling from Paddington to Reading.
A spokesman from British Transport Police (BTP) said: "BTP officers were called to a line close to Slough railway station after a report that a woman had been struck by a train.
"It is currently being treated as non-suspicious."
Officers from BTP and Thames Valley Police attended the incident along with
medics and the ambulance service.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Trains were unable to run between Slough and Windsor and Eton Central Station. Passengers were able to use South West Trains, Chiltern Railways, Virgin Trains and London Underground on any reasonable route.

Disruption was expected until around 2.15pm.
Great Western Railway are posting regular updates on twitter on the account @GWRhelp and informed customers when services were back up and running.
