Lovers of good food are being invited to enjoy a lunch fit for a Queen next week, when catering students from East Berkshire College will be bringing a flavour of the long awaited 90th birthday celebrations to its Langley campus in Station Road.

The College’s new Zest restaurant will be offering a special lunch menu to celebrate classic British cuisine in honour of Her Majesty’s birthday. The menu, which will be available from Tuesday to Thursday next week will offer diners a two-course meal for just £8.95 or three courses for only £10.50 per person.

From Coronation Chicken and Shepherd’s Pie to Queen of Puddings and Toffee Apple Crumble, the lunchtime extravaganza will see the College’s talented catering students create a delicious array of dishes inspired by classic British cooking. The menu also includes a complimentary glass of Pimms Royale to toast the occasion.

Providing a real work environment for students, the Zest restaurant at Langley College is open to the public. All food is cooked and served by talented students under the supervision of industry-trained staff.
