Firefighters avert flooding disaster for house
Firefighters used specialist equipment to save a house from serious flooding in the early hours of this morning after being called at 5.30am.
Flood water was entering the house in Rowley Lane, Wexham reaching a foot deep near the front.
A crew from Slough was able to divert water round the side of the house to prevent the situation getting worse, by using a special blocking device.
