TWO men have been remanded in custody charged with robbery after a vehicle was stolen in Iver.

Martin Cawley, 18, of High Street, Sutton Benger, Chippenham, and Patrick Power, 20, of Linsdon Close, Wembley, were arrested on Monday, May 16 and charged with robbery and other offences on Wednesday, May 18.

The robbery charge is in connection with an incident in Wellesley Avenue, Iver, which happened at around 1.45pm on Tuesday, May 12.

Cawley and Patrick are also charged with 10 counts of burglary between them outside of the Thames Valley area.

They are both also jointly charged with going equipped to steal.

Both men appeared before Hatfield Remand Court last Thursday, May 19 where they were remanded in custody. They will appear before St Albans Crown Court on June 16.
