A GOLFER overcame his condition to raised more than £2,000 for charity.

Graeme Robertson, who has primary progressive multiple sclerosis, tackled 18 holes at 18 different golf courses on Monday last week, raising money for the Disabled Golf Association.

Mr Robertson played the 10th hole at the South Buckinghamshire Golf Course, and the 15th at Stoke Park - both in Park Road, Stoke Poges.

He said: "It went really really. It was difficult as you normally play one hole and move on to the next, but I had to play then get back in the car and drive to the next course.

"I made a right hash of the hole at Stoke Park! But it was a very good day, South Bucks and Stoke Park were both very attentive - it was brilliant."

The money raised will be used to help fund Team England in international fixtures, as well as to develop infrastructure and provide equipment for the association.
