POLICE are searching for a child sex offender who has links to the British canal system and may be using it as a way to move around the country.
Michael Crabb, 53, went missing after being released from prison on licence on March 17. He was last seen in Uxbridge, Middlesex the same day, but also has links to Slough, Iver and Warwickshire.
The convicted child sex offender, who was sentenced to a nine-year-prison sentence, has breached his imposed licensing conditions by failing to notify a change of address and is now wanted on a recall to prison.
Crabb also has links to the British canal system and has in the past taken shelter on barges and may therefore travel throughout the country.
If seen, Crabb should not to be approached and the public are asked to dial 999 immediately.
Anyone with any information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact detectives at Wandsworth Borough Manhunt team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
