A COMPANY has announced plans to sponsor an eight-week-old new recruit for Woofability Assistance Dogs and it is asking for help in naming her.

The Queensmere Observatory shopping centre in Slough's High Street, will be sponsoring a puppy set to undergo training to become part of the Woofability team - an organisation which trains assistance dogs for disabled people.

Chris Shaw, centre manager, said: "We are delighted to sponsor Woofability; they do such an incredible job and trains dogs for disabled children and adults and children with Autism in our area.

"We can’t wait to meet the pup when she’s old enough and we’ll be running a competition to allow visitors to the centre to name her. We’ll also following her progress throughout her life and giving everyone regular updates on our website."

Andy Clarke of Woofability will be bringing two of his adult dogs along to the centre at midday on Tuesday (21).
