A home in Surrey Avenue, Slough suffered serious smoke damage to its upstairs rooms last night after a fire broke out in a bedroom.
Firefighters from Slough were called at 8pm and managed to contain the blaze in one bedroom, although two breathing apparatus had to be used as smoke poured out of the front windows of the house.
Firefighters went into the loft of the house to make sure the fire had been put out, leaving the scene after an hour.
