A NEW president was inducted at a Rotary Club handover evening.
The Rotary Club of Burnham Beeches hosted its annual celebration of the year's events on Thursday last week, in which Ray Dance was welcomed as the club's new president.
Mr Dance will take over from Brian Kay, who oversaw a record funds raised for Marie Curie Cancer Care at this year's Burnham Donkey Derby held in Burnham Park in May.
The club also handed over the fruits of their fundraising throughout the year to three charities represented in the area - Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service, Thames Valley Hospice and Marie Curie.
On social media, Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service commented: "Thank you very much for inviting us to join you, it was a wonderful evening. Thank you again for such a generous donation and for all you fantastic support."
The Rotary Club handed over £6,666 to Marie Curie, £2,500 to Thames Valley Hospice, and £1,500 to Alexandra Devine Children's Hospice Service.
