A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital after three cars were involved in a crash on the M4 this morning.
Firefighters from Slough and Langley fire stations used specialist cutting equipment to rescue the woman, who suffered serious injuries, who was trapped in her car.
The motorway was closed in both directions while an air ambulance landed to take the woman to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
The crash happened at around 11am close to the slip road for Junction 4B.
