AN OVERTURNED lorry caused chaos in Cippenham Lane yesterday.
Firefighters from Slough fire station were called to the scene to recover the vehicle after it tipped over at about 12.50pm near a construction work site.
The road closed between Richards Way and Spring Lane was closed as the recovery took place.
Engineers from Southern Electric had to attend the scene to make safe a damaged electric cable.
Power in the area was also affected after the lorry damaged electrical cables as it fell.
The driver is believed to have escaped unharmed.
