A MAN arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail.
Police officers were called to The George Inn public house in High Street, Burnham at 12.01am in the early hours of Saturday morning to a report of a man having been assaulted inside the pub.
The victim has been formally identified as Dean Haverley, aged 48, from Burnham.
He was treated at the scene but sadly later died in hospital. His next of kin has been informed.
A post mortem examination yesterday (Sunday) at Wexham Park Hospital gave the cause of Mr Haverley’s death to be unascertained, pending further tests.
A 61-year-old man from Burnham was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been released on bail until September 2.
