RIDERS took on a cycling challenge to raise money for Slough Foodbank.
The charity benefited from the event on Sunday last week which saw 20 riders take on the 24 mile course around the local area.
Park roads, cycle paths and tracks made up 19 miles of the route, with around five miles on roads, and including a trip around Slough town centre, Datchet, Windsor Great Park, Eton, the Jubilee River and Dorney.
All riders received a t-shirt for taking part and a donation to Slough Foodbank.
Toby McKeever trustee and treasurer of Slough Foodbank who organised the ride, said: "It was brilliant. It was one of the nicest days we have had weather wise, and we have been doing it for five years.
"Twenty riders came out with us and there was a mixture of ages and abilities. There was some good support from well wishers along the way. It was a great afternoon.
"The money raised will come in over the next few months so we don't know how much has been raised, but we are hoping it will exceed £1,000."
Donations can still be made at www.btplc.com/mydonate on the Slough Foodbank page.
