Traffic chaos hit central Slough this morning after two cars were involved in a crash in Wellington Street soon after 8pm.
Firefighters had to cut the roof off one of the cars so that an injured passenger could be taken to Wexham Park Hospital, Slough.
Police closed the road during the incident leading to major tailbacks.
One driver said: "It took me over an hour to get from Iver to Slough. Traffic was backed up for miles."
The incident ended soon after 9am and traffic is returning to normal.
