THERE WERE two thefts of large amounts of oil from the same service station in the space of a week in the run up to Christmas.

Both incidents happened at the Good Companions Service Station in Stoke Poges Lane, Slough, with the first in broad daylight at about 2.50pm on December 12, when a man entered the shop and stole ten litres of Mobil oil.

The second shoplift happened on December 19 at about 7.40pm, when a man walked in to the store and stole three gallons of engine oil.

Thames Valley Police believe that both thefts were carried out by the same man and have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to who may have vital information to help their investigation.

Investigating officer PC White, based at Slough Police Station, said: “We are carrying out an investigation in order to identify the man responsible for these two incidents.”
