A SLOUGH-BASED martial arts club has recently returned from a World Championship tournament in India, where they performed extremely well.
British Kudo, who train in both Montem Leisure Centre, Slough and Unity Martial Arts Academy in Farnham Common, flew to Mumbai for the tournament and did not return home empty handed.
Imran Fazil picked up first place in his respective category, while Rohan Dar and Zain Yaqub came third place in theirs.
Sensei Mohammed Anas said: “Kudos UK started off in 2003 and we have been representing Europe in global events since then, including World Cups and World Championships.
“Our boys did extremely well.
“There were other students from different clubs in UK who fought very well and faced up with tough opponents but did not get through but next time I’m sure they will succeed.”
Next up for British Kudo will be a tournament in April held in Italy, before the Kudo UK Championships, which will be held at Montem Sports Centre on Saturday, May 20.
