Police have released an e-fit image of a man after a group burst into a house in Maidenhead - one of whom was carrying a knife - and assaulted the victims.

The aggravated burglary happened on Saturday, May 6 at a house in Boyn Bill Road at approximately 9pm.

Three men entered the house and demanded possessions from the victims, and it is believed one was holding a bladed weapon.

The group then assaulted the victims, who were three men in their mid-forties, before leaving the property.

One of the offenders is described as a white man of large build, approximately 5ft 7ins. The two other men are both described as black, of 'stocky' build, and around 5ft 10 ins tall. All offenders are aged in their thirties or forties.

One of the victims sustained an injury to his head and hand in the assault which required hospital treatment, Thames Valley Police said.

Investigating officer Det Con Ross Fleming of Berkshire force CID said: “ We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or any suspicious behaviour in and around the Boyn Hill area on this evening.

“If anyone recognises the man in this E-Fit picture, or has any information relating to the incident, please contact Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting incident number 1574 of 6 May.”
