PINEWOOD Studios has paid tribute to Sir Roger Moore who has died following a short battle with cancer.
Many of Sir Roger's James Bond films were shot at Pinewood and the studios, in Iver Heath, revealed that he was actually one of its longest standing resident actors.
One of the most famous bond features made at the studios was The Spy Who Loved Me in 1976, starring Sir Roger in the lead role.
Sir Roger died today, Tuesday, at the age of 89 and the world of entertainment has been paying tribute.
A statement from the studios said: "It is with great sadness that Pinewood learns of the passing of Sir Roger Moore, KBE.
"He has kept an office at the studios since 1970 and he is officially one of our longest standing residents.
"He joked only recently that he did still 'make a point of coming in whenever I can to do a little light dusting and Hoovering'.
"Sir Roger was a force of nature and his humour and amazing spirit will be missed by all of us."
