A man has denied a charge of aggravated burglary - following a fatal shooting incident which happened near the Colnbrook bypass last month.
Anthony ‘Tony’ Hearn, 48, of Moreland Close, Colnbrook, was arrested and later charged with aggravated burglary after the shooting incident happened on Monday, June 12.
Police formally identified the victim of the shooting as 48-year-old, Wayne Digby and a post-mortem gave the cause of death as a shotgun wound to the abdomen.
Mr Hearn pleaded not guilty to the aggravated burglary charge at a pre-trial hearing at Reading Crown Court.
A trial date has been set for Reading Crown Court on Monday, November 27.
