THIEVES ram-raided the Co-op on Iver's High Street in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The raid happened at around 4.40am. Thames Valley Police said in a statement that the thieves had been attempting to steal money from the Co-op ATM.
The police said the thieves were ultimately unable to break into the ATM. They eventually abaondoned their efforts and fled the area.
A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police stated: "Police officers are carrying out house to house enquiries as part of the investigation"
"Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 and quote reference 171 (27/7)."
