St Bernard's is celebrating a suite of good results this year. 61% of the school's 120 pupils achieved A*/B grades, while 29% received A*/A grades in their subjects. The overall pass rate was 86%.

Michael Stimpson, headteacher, said: "These great results are testament to the hard work undertaken by both students and staff. Well done to all of our students!"

One outstanding student was Paul Farcas, who received two A* grades in Maths and Chemistry, and an A in Physics. Paul, who moved to the UK from Romania just six years ago, is going to study Physics at Oxford University.

Burnham Grammar School also spoke positively of their student's efforts. Headteacher Andy Gillespie said: "We've had a fantastic set of results - a high percentage of A* grades, and we've had A/A* grades of above 30%. All of our students who'd applied for Cambridge and Oxford got in. These results demonstrate the incredibly hard work of our students and teachers over the last two years."

One star student was Andrew Walker, who received four A* grades in Maths, Further Maths, Geography and History. He said: "I was really happy. I ran downstairs and told my parents - they were really happy too." Andrew is going to be studying History at Cambridge University.

Langley Grammar School also had a good performance this year, with 73.1% achieving A* to B grades and a 91.4% overall pass rate of A* to C grades. Headteacher John Constable said: "The results are a testament to the hard work of our students and to the dedication of our staff who taught and supported them." An exceptional student this year was Sarah Siddique, who achieved three A* grades in Maths, English, and Economics. Sarah is going to be studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford University, and said she had political ambitions.

Also of note were the twins of Sophia and Dayna Gill, who between them received five A* grades – Sophia in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, and Dayna in Biology and Chemistry, with an A grade in Maths.

Upton Court Grammar School is celebrating strong results, with 57.5% of students achieving A*to B grades, and 27.5% receiving A* to A grades.

Principal Mercedes Estrada, said “These outcomes are a testament to the students' hard work and talent as well as to the invaluable support they have received from our expert staff.”

One high-achieving student was Rahul Kumar, who received four A* grades in History, Economics, Politics, and the Extended Project Qualifications. He is going to study Economics and Politics at King's College, London. He said: "I'd like to thank the school for everything, and all their support."

Beechwood School had an exceptional performance this year, with 81.3% of students achieving A* to C grades. Headteacher Kathleen Higgins congratulated students for their 'phenomenal' success, saying the results were "The best results ever obtained at our school."

There were a number of subjects in which no student got less than a C, which included Business Studies, Art, and ICT.

Headteacher Higgins said the results spoke volumes as to "the diligence and aspiration of our young people."

"It also reflects the hard work, expertise and commitment of our staff and the great support provided by families."

Herschel Grammar School enjoyed good results this year, with 60% of students achieving A* to B grades in their subjects.

Headteacher Jo Rockall said: "We are delighted with the results, and they reflect the hard work of our students and staff."

One outstanding student was Aadam Southon, who achieved an A* in Maths and Physics, and an A in Chemistry and Further Maths.
