Buckinghamshire County Council is asking for residents’ views on its 27 proposed waste disposal sites, and its seven mineral extraction locations. The final plan will guide the council until 2036.

Favoured sites for mineral extraction in the nearby area include North Park, Iver, and two locations on Slade Farm, near Hedgerley. Proposed sites for waste disposal in the area are Court Lane and Ridgeway Trading Estate, both in Iver.

The draft plan will take 18 months to finalise, and is scheduled to be completed in late 2018. The consultation will remain open until Wednesday, September 27.

A spokesman for Buckinghamshire County Council said: “All feedback is taken on board, and the draft plan is revised, then consulted on again. It then passes on to Communities Secretary Sajid Javid before a formal examination in public in summer 2018.”
